Art Deco town house 'Albertina', built around 1934 (cadastral mutation sketch of 1934) in Merksem on the initiative of the office clerk Augusta Theresia Francien Nagels, for sale to the merchant Cornelius Van Offel–Strijbol; the original plan has not survived and the designer is unknown. The red-brick cornice façade on a high bluestone plinth ends in a mitre-shaped gable above a three-sided bay window crowned by a balcony with a metal balustrade. Eared surrounds, stylised foliage and a name stone enliven the façade, whose joinery is fully preserved. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
