Shop with flats above, the result of the partial demolition and rebuilding of an existing shop-house, for which a file was submitted in 1932; the architect Frans Meunier drew up the plans on behalf of Henri Jacobs and Joseph Douwen. The inventory describes the façade as being in "zuivere art-decostijl" (pure Art Deco style). Of three bays and three storeys under a flat roof, the cornice façade combines a rendered upper part with a ground floor whose shop windows are clad in blue and bright green ceramic tiles. The rendered upper part is articulated vertically by the paired rectangular windows of each bay; scrolled ornaments mark the wall between the windows and recur as the crowning of the intermediate piers, and the façade ends in a strongly projecting cornice between two finials, above a geometric relief frieze. The joinery of the upper windows, with horizontally divided transoms, and the structure of the shop ground floor survive, but the original ironwork of the two doors has disappeared. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
