Terraced house of three storeys under a flat roof, built under a permit of 1936 and designed by the Ghent architect Emile De Nil. The Flemish inventory classes it as modernism and calls it "romantic cubism": an asymmetrical, sculptural facade with a rising wall pier on the right. It stands in a street with houses by De Maerteleire (no. 42, 1935), Van Laere (no. 4, 1935) and Gruyaert (no. 39, 1938).
