Building of the Queen Elisabeth Medical Foundation, a medical research institute founded in 1926 by Queen Elisabeth with the physiologist Pierre Nolf, built by Henry Lacoste between 1927 and 1930, with Lucien De Vestel from 1929, on the Brugmann hospital site; the Foundation now occupies only the former director's house. Born in Tournai in 1885 and passionate about architectural history and ancient civilisations, Lacoste also designed the Buysinghen sanatorium in Halle. The building has been partially listed since 2012.
