Group of three semi-detached town houses in sober Art Deco, on the corner of Camille Huysmanslaan and Van Varickstraat, designed in 1934 by Christiaan Pallemans, a building contractor based in Kapellen, for Edmond De Beukelaer, later head of the De Beukelaer liqueur distillery. The two-storey houses, with identical red-brick façades on a high white stone plinth, have slate mansard roofs and tall slender chimney stacks, rather than the flat roofs usual in the Exhibition district. White stone decorates the parapets, sills, surrounds and chimney crowns. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
