School building erected among social housing by the Brothers of Charity of Ghent, in a geometric Art Deco, in 1934, after a design by the Ghent architect Alfons Van de Vijver (inscription). The five-bay, three-storey front block under a flat roof has a stone facing enlivened by projecting and recessed planes. A stepped central entrance tower is combined with colossal recessed window bays with pronounced intermediate mullions; the windows and door have been replaced in aluminium. The rear façade is in brick, and extensions were added later. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
