Villa Le Castel — Knokke-Heist

"Le Castel" is an Art Deco villa designed in 1933 by the Brussels architect Edouard Beckers. Built in red brick under a high roof of black tiles, it plays on elaborate massing: a tower-like projection, a loggia with a cigar-shaped column, a terrace and a porch beneath a wide round arch. A tile picture depicts a horseman. The villa is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
