Originally an eclectic house with neo-Renaissance elements, dated 1907 by the cartouche above the door, it was altered and extended in 1926 with a second dwelling, no. 453, to designs by Alfons Van Coillie (Roeselare). No. 453 is an Art Deco-tinged house of two and a half storeys under a flat roof, in light brick enlivened with cemented surfaces. Its façade has a projecting cornice on brackets, which departs from the building plan, an oriel on a console and a niche holding the statue of a saint.
