Two similar houses of Art Deco inspiration designed in 1923 by the architect Jean Troniseck for the contractor Van Craenenbroeck. Their asymmetrical, mirrored red-brick façades have two storeys under a mansard and end in a large wall dormer with a scalloped cornice; chequerboard brick panels below the windows and in the frieze, and bands of upright bricks, enliven them. No. 50 has rectangular openings, no. 52 round or basket-handle arched openings and a dormer flanked by pinnacles. The joinery survives.
