Bel-étage houses built in 1929 to designs by E. Mispelter; no. 5-5C was designed as a rental building, whose garage was incorporated into the larger house at no. 7. Their Art Deco cornice façades, each with one door bay and one window bay, are characterised by a bluestone plinth, recessed bays, yellow-brick spandrels, triangular bay windows and a balcony, stepped motifs and decorative grilles with triangle and scroll motifs. Except for the recessed bay window of no. 7, the original joinery survives throughout: traditional T-shaped windows with geometric glazing bars in the fanlight. They are recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
