Two buildings in a moderate Art Deco style, built in quick succession to designs by the architect R. Adriaenssens: his own house (no. 22), for which a building application was filed at the end of 1926, followed in 1928 by the multi-family house (no. 20) commissioned by H. Martin. The sober three-storey façades with cornice under flat roofs, in brick and natural stone on a bluestone plinth, emphasise the bel-étage with a barely projecting oriel. Brick in two shades of red and alternating stretcher and soldier courses enliven the masonry; the original window joinery and the wrought-iron grilles of the doors largely survive.
