Art Deco town house in Sint-Amandsberg, for which the permit application was filed in 1928 on behalf of Louis Balliu, head of the Ateliers de Construction Louis Balliu; the file names neither architect nor contractor, and the family is said to have had a strong say in the design, particularly the stained glass. The three-storey cornice facade under a flat roof, in red brick on a natural-stone plinth, combines a wide window bay, framed by pilasters topped with geometric ornaments, with a narrow door bay; the white stone around the openings bears Art Deco bas-reliefs in places and the upper floor has a curved oriel. All the wooden joinery keeps fanlights of leaded glass with coloured geometric motifs. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
