Art Deco house over a cellar, of three storeys under a flat roof, designed in 1940 by the architect A. De Gavre (according to his name plate) and built for A. Vanderdonckt next to his weaving mill. Of brick, it incorporates rendered façade surfaces and tiles. It is characterised by its play of volumes, varied brick bonds, alternating material colours – yellow brick, white rendered surfaces and black tiles – and vertical accents. On the right, the door bay with its recessed door rises higher and contains the bedroom windows. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
