Art Deco town house designed in 1930 by Charles Bar, city architect of Ghent, for Juliaan Gyselinck-Bar. The two-bay, three-storey cornice façade, in brown brick on a low bluestone plinth, is strongly vertical thanks to a three-sided oriel over two storeys set in a rectangular recess; a band of vertically laid blue-smoked bricks runs above the plinth. According to the plans, slanting partitions gave the drawing room and dining room a pentagonal shape; it is uncertain whether this interior survives.
