Modest Art Deco town house built for Gaston Latinie to a 1929 design by the architect Willy Fisher, then aged twenty-one, and one of his earliest works; according to the inventory, its expressive brick architecture still leans towards the Amsterdam School, before the architect turned to modernism in the early 1930s. Terraced, of two unequal bays and two storeys under a complex slate saddle roof, it is soberly built in red brick, natural stone being used only for the frames and copings, and bluestone for the plinth and sills. Soldier bond is combined with brick-on-edge courses that emphasise the lintels and breastworks; the asymmetrical composition stresses the wide side projection, marked by a bow window and ending in a gable. The wooden joinery of the front door, the garage door, the windows with small glazing bars and the dormer survives. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
