Maison Art déco avec magasin, Rekkemsestraat 89 — Courtrai

Art Deco house with a storehouse, built in 1939 to designs by A. Vandenweghe, in Marke. This brick building is characterised by a varied bond of assorted yellow and red bricks. The window bay is marked by a three-sided bay window continuing into a stepped pediment with a dormer window, and the storehouse, under a pyramid roof, also has a stepped pediment. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
