Maison d'angle Art déco, Meensesteenweg 221 — Courtrai

Corner house of 1933 in the Art Deco style, in Bissegem. The style shows in the materials, red and brown brick and ochre roughcast, and in the design: the roughcast applied in steps and a door surround topped by a hexagonal transom. The window bay, beneath a stepped gable, has a curved bay window surmounted by a round-arched window; above the round-arched door is a hexagonal window. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
