La Maison Libérale

Office building of Art Deco inspiration by the architect J. Van Kriekinge, 1923, conceived as an extension of a building with function rooms at rue de Laeken 159. Shallow in depth, it has a facade of brick, white stone and imitation stone, four storeys and five bays under a slate-covered mansard roof. The sober elevation, punctuated by pilasters, emphasises the three-part entrance portal topped by a canopy on brackets.
