An office building in Art Deco style, built to plans by the architect F. Conard in 1931, for the insurance company La Paix. Rhythmed by pilasters, the severe white-stone facade has six storeys and three wide bays. The central projection is pierced by a bluestone portal; a balustrade flanked by monumental vases sits below a blind attic storey. The very plain brick rear facade overlooks rue du Pélican, no. 5-7.
