The "Palais du Cinéma" of Brussels, inaugurated on 27 October 1932 and designed by Adrien Blomme, assisted by R. Nicolas (plans of 1930). Its single 3,000-seat auditorium was, together with the Eldorado, the largest in the city. The façade has four storeys of alternating convex and concave glazing; the interior is decorated with marble, travertine and panelling. Above the screen is a monumental bas-relief, "The Dance", by the sculptor Ossip Zadkine. Divided into several screens in 1971, the former cinema has been entered on the legal heritage inventory since 2024.
