Apartment building in the Art Deco style, built after a 1928 design by the architect Joseph Ditvoorts for Joseph Zajdmann, a dealer in surplus goods of Russian-Polish Jewish origin who had settled in Antwerp in 1910. It contains two shops, twelve apartments of two types and a caretaker's dwelling. Three bays wide and seven storeys high under a flat roof, it has a façade rendered in imitation stone, now painted, composed of a ground floor, colossal upper floors and a slate pseudo-mansard top. The side bays are marked by three-sided bay windows rising over several floors between lesenes with fluted tops, and crowned by dormers with volutes and a curved pseudo-pediment with a rosette; in the centre, the parapets of the wide windows carry scrollwork friezes. Of the original joinery only the wrought-iron private entrance door survives. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
