On the corner of Rue Saint-François, this Art Deco apartment building was built in 1932 for the Habitations à bon marché (low-cost housing). It has five storeys plus a mansard storey and eleven bays; the ground and first floors form a base separated from the upper floors by a wide band. Every other bay is marked by a bow window rising through five floors and standing free of the mansard storey like a turret. The façade in reconstituted stone with false joints rests on a base of French stone alternating with bands of red brick; above the door of no. 57 Rue Saint-François, a cartouche bears the date of construction. The building is recorded in the inventory of architectural heritage.
