Art Deco building erected following a 1935 building permit application, to designs by the architect Jacques De Coster. On a bluestone plinth, the brick and concrete façade has four storeys, including a commercial ground floor. A wide trapezoidal oriel spans the first two floors and carries a balcony; on the top floor, two pinnacles set at 45° and topped with vases frame the windows beneath a concrete canopy that follows the relief of the façade. The horizontal crowning is marked by a keystone carved with palms and scrolls.
