This five-storey, three-bay Art Deco apartment building was erected following a 1930 building permit application, to plans by the architect Jules Pilate. Its brick façade, on a bluestone plinth, is enlivened by pilaster strips, brackets and springers in coloured or painted brick. The central bay carries a three-storey oriel on brackets with geometric motifs, and the openings have three-sided arches. The mansard roof is pierced by three dormers set between small pilasters.
