Art Deco apartment building with two shops on the ground floor, built under a 1932 permit application for Professor Paul Vander Linden to designs by the architect Georges Merlé, whose signature and date appear on the façade stone. On the corner of Leeuwstraat, it rises to five and six storeys, with a rounded corner bay of band windows crowned by a frieze with garlands. The yellow brick facing is combined with sandstone, trapezoidal sandstone bay windows enliven the side façades, and a relief with a sundial crowns the stair projection. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
