Two town houses in a similar Art Deco style, designed in 1929 by the architect Emiel Hoebeke for J. Wari and J. Marissael. The two-storey, flat-roofed houses have staggered red-brick façades in which a cubist play of horizontal and vertical lines in contrasting materials expresses the Art Deco vocabulary. Each has a first-floor bay window, flat at number 27 and three-sided at number 29; the one at number 27 keeps its wooden frames and figurative coloured leaded glass. The houses are recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
