On the corner of Rue Tenbosch, an Art Deco apartment building designed in 1926 by the architect Léon Mercenier, who was also its owner. The six-storey elevation, combining smooth and rough render with brick on the top floor, is marked by a corner turret and by powerful overhangs on massive brackets; a widely glazed oriel lights the stairwell. The ground floor in blue stone, white stone and pink sandstone retains its wrought-iron door with plant motifs; an attic storey was added to the turret in 1940 by the same architect. The building is recorded in the legal inventory.
