Art Deco apartment building erected in 1935 by the architect Joseph Vanderstraeten on a through plot between Avenue Massenet and Chaussée de Bruxelles. It opens a uniform row of buildings in the same style, up to no. 32, built between 1931 and 1938 by the same architect, with the exception of nos. 18 to 24-26. On the avenue side, the red-brick and imitation-stone façade features an oriel over three storeys, curved balconies with tubular railings and a continuous terrace with rounded corners on the top floor; on the chaussée side, a semicircular oriel. The tubular wrought-iron fence is original.
