Ensemble of two Art Deco town houses, one with a shop, designed in 1932 by the Ghent architect Ormond Bibauw for his son, the lawyer Robert Bibauw, who died in 1945 in the Neuengamme concentration camp. The two three-storey houses have red and orange brick cornice façades with rendered sections on bluestone bases, dominated by full-width three-sided rendered oriels on stepped corbels running through both upper floors. The narrower left-hand house has a shopfront with an integrated entrance porch; the wider right-hand house retains its glazed iron door with geometric grilles. The ensemble is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
