Ensemble Art déco, Prinses Marie-Joséplein 7-11 — Courtrai

A uniform group designed in 1932 by Alexander Meuleman(s) of Ghent, in a geometric Art Deco. This shows in the play of volumes created by bays carried up the façade and bay windows, in the materials, the distinctive brick bonds, a cement-rendered sawtooth frieze and the leaded glass. The group is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
