Former diamond-cutting works built in 1897-1898 for the diamond merchant Mani Daniëls to designs by Victor Durlet senior and junior, whose front section was thoroughly converted in 1932 for J. Boeckx by the architect Armand Schroyens into a raised-ground-floor house with offices at street level. The new five-bay, three-storey Art Deco façade, rendered in imitation stone on a bluestone plinth, is articulated by giant pilasters and marked on the left by a bow window with a wrought-iron balcony above the carriage entrance. Bead mouldings and stylised floral medallions decorate the parapets; the original varnished woodwork survives. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
