Former Art Deco cold-storage warehouse, designed in 1924 by two architects, one of them J. Hommens. The four-storey flat-roofed building in white stone and yellow brick opens at ground level through a vast flattened pointed arch giving onto a showroom and a carriage passage to the slaughterhouse site, which was linked to the railway. On the upper floors the bays are flanked by thick trapezoidal pilasters decorated with geometric volutes and carved roses, and a trapezoidal oriel spans the first two levels; inside were offices, staff housing and cold rooms. The building is recorded in the statutory inventory.
