René Notéris
René Notéris was a Brussels architect and surveyor whose 1922 plans give the address of his office, 206 rue d'Aerschot. Between 1922 and 1924 he built several buildings in Leuven, including the Vander Elst town house (1922), the only town house in pure Art Deco style in the city centre. In Brussels he designed the house at rue Baron de Castro 10 (1927). In the 1930s he designed two apartment buildings for the contractor J. Dubois, the Résidence Albert Ier (1935) and the Résidence La Marquise (1936), and around 1935, with the contractor H. Vandeuren, he converted the former silo of the Meunerie bruxelloise on Allée Verte into an apartment building.
