Art Deco villa of 1936, designed by R. Van Steenbergen senior. Of two by three bays and two storeys under an overhanging hipped roof of black Flemish tiles with a dormer, it is extended by a lower rear wing under a gabled roof. The façade combines facing of decorative brown and yellow brickwork, black faience and bluestone sills; built-in brick flower boxes run across the full width, and the projecting door bay has a typical round-arched door in a brick surround, a flagpole holder and narrow paired windows at the top. The original joinery with coloured stained glass survives, as does the hall from the time of construction with its characteristic tiled floor, timber staircase and veneered doors, including walnut and ebony. The villa is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
