Maison Art déco, Zondereigen 75 — Baarle-Hertog

Detached Art Deco house with one door bay and one window bay, two storeys under a saddle roof, built around 1938 (municipal authorisation of 27 August 1938) to a design by R. Van Steenbergen senior. The cornice façade has decorative brickwork alternating red and brown brick, with varied bonds and pronounced joints, beneath a far-projecting cornice. The door bay forms an oriel, with a round-arched door within a brick pointed arch topped by a leaded-glass oculus; the window bay retains its original joinery with horizontal glazing bars. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
