Villa Art déco, Deerlijkstraat 61 — Zwevegem

Art Deco villa of 1935 according to the land-registry data, set in a garden closed off from the street by a low brick wall with two wrought-iron gates. A double-fronted house of yellow brick under a black-tiled hipped roof, it has a right-hand bay marked by a three-sided bay window rising through the full height. The rectangular windows have mullions and sills of black glazed tiles; window bands continue round the corner under broad white-painted lintels. The recessed round-arched porch has a lantern. The villa is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
