Maison Art déco, Deerlijkstraat 11 — Zwevegem

Art Deco town house built in 1932 according to the cadastral records. This double-fronted house, in varied brick on a bluestone plinth below a white-painted frieze, has a wide door bay with a striking concrete stair window with small wooden glazing bars and a moulded porch; to the left, a recessed three-sided window bay. The joinery survives, with geometric glazing bars and coloured glass in the transoms. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
