This Art Deco house was registered in the land register in 1929 and built for the engineer Gilbert De Cuyper, as a mirror image of the neighbouring house at no. 24. The façade combines red brick with grey-painted cement rendering for the surrounds, on a bluestone base, under a wooden cornice on brackets. A three-sided oriel on a console accentuates the window bay, and the original white joinery retains its transoms with geometric glazing bars. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
