This Art Deco house was registered in the land register in 1929 and built for the engineer André De Cuyper, as a mirror image of the neighbouring house at no. 26. The façade combines red brick with yellow-painted cement rendering for the surrounds, on a high bluestone base, under a wooden cornice on brackets. The wide window bay is accentuated by a three-sided oriel carrying a balcony. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
