Maison Art déco — Menen

An Art Deco town house whose 1929 plans altered both the façade and the interior. The façade, the work of Gaston Boghemans of Menen, stands out for its colourful facing and geometric vocabulary. The original joinery is very well preserved, with two- and three-sided windows on the upper floor and ground-floor windows with chamfered upper corners; a cornice on consoles crowns the whole. Boghemans was also the author of the Feestpaleis in Roeselare.
