Villa Art déco, Wervikstraat 192 — Menen

Art Deco villa of 1935, set back from the street and designed by E. Vanriet, according to a building permit file in the Menen municipal archives; a low rubble-stone wall separates it from the street. Built in yellow brick under a flat roof, it is characterised by the rounded corners of, among others, the balcony and bay window, and by tubular profiles. The bay window, faced with green glazed tiles, contrasts with the rest of the façade. The villa is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
