Maison Art déco, Graaf de Smet de Naeyerlaan 7 — Courtrai

A double-fronted Art Deco house built in 1927 to a design by the Kortrijk architect Charles Debels. Its cornice-topped facade is faced with rubble stone and enlivened by decorative pilaster strips on a bluestone plinth. The right-hand bay is emphasised by a two-storey bow window crowned by an elaborate Art Deco wrought-iron railing. The small front garden is enclosed by a low rubble-stone wall and Art Deco railings.
