Maison Art déco, Dorp 36

Town house of three bays and two storeys under a gabled roof, built around 1935 to a design by K. Van Looy, whose name is inscribed on the balcony. The brick cornice façade has a wide rendered string course, concrete balcony and oriel slabs and decorative motifs in artificial or natural stone (stylised roses, stepped elements); golden-yellow and brown faience frames the entrance. It is marked by a rounded oriel and an adjoining balcony with an iron tubular railing; windows, doors and cornice have been renewed.
