Geometric Art Deco corner building combining two houses and a shop, of three storeys under a flat roof, designed in 1935 by F. Vanhee (Roeselare). The red brick, on a grey terrazzo base, is enlivened with red terrazzo; strongly profiled corner pilaster strips rise from the second storey into the heavy dentilled cornice, and geometric decorative brickwork adorns the pier between the three-sided oriels of numbers 138-140. At number 134, a heavy balcony follows the two corner bays above the shopfront, with its central door between rounded posts and a canopy; the windows with horizontal glazing bars are largely preserved. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
