On the corner of Place Émile Bockstael, this Art Deco apartment building was designed in 1935 by the architect Raymond Hannaert, replacing a tavern, with a café on the ground floor. Set on a triangular plot, it has three façades of red brick enhanced with white imitation stone and bluestone, one of them running alongside the railway. A massive curved concrete canopy, bow windows under domed roofs and an attic with scrolled finials enliven the elevation. The building is recorded in the architectural heritage inventory.
