At the corner of boulevard du Neuvième de Ligne, this sharply angled building with a cut corner was designed in the Art Deco style by the architect Marcel Chabot in 1924-1925. Its brick and imitation-stone facade, rhythmically divided by broad colossal pilasters, partly fluted, has rows of paired windows above the former wide café frontage. The crowning once included a frieze of stylised birds and scrollwork; the attic level was converted into a full storey to the 1929 plans of the architect G. Quertainmont.
