Corner ensemble of four town houses and a corner building with a shop, designed in 1931 in the Art Deco style by building technician (bouwkundige) Constant Semal for Michel Casaert, a contractor by trade, who built it. The three-storey brick cornice façades are enlivened with decorative brickwork; the two mirrored central houses each have a three-sided oriel running through both upper floors. The corner house, with its canted corner, is articulated by pilaster strips linked at the top by stepped dentil courses and has octagonal windows above the shop door; a carriage entrance bears the inscription "ingang voor velos // reparatien". The ensemble is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
