A commercial and residential building designed in the Art Deco style by the architect J. Van der Linden in 1932, of three storeys and three bays under a gable roof. The façade in brick, bluestone and imitation stone, structured by horizontal mouldings, is roughly symmetrical apart from the strongly projecting rounded balconies extending the trapezoidal bow windows. At the top of the side bays, polychrome ceramic bas-reliefs depict a stereotyped African face between bunches of bananas and oranges, an allusion to the fruit trade; the commercial ground floor is widely glazed.
