Ancien « Comptoir du Centre » (S.A. de Banque, de Dépôts et du Crédit)

Bank building in the Art Deco style, built in 1928 to plans by the architect C. Muller. It originally had four storeys with a mezzanine and three bays. The carefully designed facade is clad in white stone and pierced by rectangular windows with metal frames; the piers are enlivened by colossal-order colonnettes with palmette capitals. The top attic storey ends in a decorated trapezoidal pseudo-pediment. The lower part, originally quite tall, has been altered.
