Maisons Art déco, Groenstraat 109-111 — Zelzate

Two Art Deco terraced houses built together in 1939, according to the cadastral archives, with two storeys under a flat roof and a low-pitched saddle roof. Their yellow brick facing rests on a bluestone plinth. Number 109 is strongly horizontal, marked by bands of black glazed tiles; number 111 stands out for an oriel topped by a balcony with rounded corners and a typical tubular railing. The houses are recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
